Aunt Mary Solitaire
This engaging solitaire game shares many similarities with Yukon Solitaire but introduces some subtle variations that may require you to adjust your strategy. At the outset, six tableau piles are dealt, with six cards in each pile. The first pile contains all six cards face up, the second has five face-up cards, and this pattern continues until the sixth pile, which has just one face-up card. The remaining cards form the stock pile for later use. The main goal is to move all the cards into four foundation piles, built ascending from Ace to King by suit. The tableau is arranged such that cards are built down in alternating colors; you can move sequences of face-up cards from one tableau pile to another, provided they follow the descending and alternating color rule. When a tableau pile becomes empty, only a King can be placed in that empty space. Additionally, you can draw one card from the stock pile and place it onto a tableau pile if it complies with the game rules. Cards can also be moved to the foundation piles whenever they follow the proper sequence and suit. Once the stock pile is depleted, it remains exhausted—no redeals are permitted. Success involves strategic planning and a bit of luck to transfer all cards to the foundation piles. The more cards you successfully mobilize to the foundations, the higher your score. This challenging variation of Yukon Solitaire tests your patience and tactical skills, making each game a unique and rewarding puzzle.
